Ottosson Linseed Oil Soap is made from purified raw linseed oil. All ingredients are natural and there are no solvent or petroleum additives. The soap is designed to clean brushes and painting tools after using the Ottosson Linseed Oil Paint. 
 
This is one of the best features of traditional linseed oil paint as there is no solvents used from start to finish of the painting or clean-up process. No mineral spirits needed. Brushes and tools will last much longer. 
 
The Ottosson Linseed Oil Soap is also ideal for cleaning wooden surfaces, such as old floors, siding, outdoor furniture, etc. The purified linseed oil in the soap nourishes the wood and penetrates slightly into wood surfaces. It will leave a film on glass.
 
Use to clean old wood before painting. Scrub with stainless steel scrub pad, wipe clean with microfiber cloth, let dry, and then oil or paint the surface for best results.
