This infrared tool includes a standard yellow carry case and weight bar for an easy side-resting position.
It is designed with an upgraded heavy-duty power switch and wiring harness with automatic overheat shut off.
 
This tool uses standard SPR replacement IR bulbs.
Bulbs rated for 5000 hrs.
Do no drop tool. Bulbs will break and need to be replaced.
 
Always use sharp scrapers. Sharpen blades on a regular basis.
 
When not in use, turn off and place on its long side to rest and cool down.
Always shut the tool off when not in use. 
 
Do not ever stand the tool on its end. It should always be left to rest or be stored on its long side.
Do not let paint fall into the tool. Keep tubes and reflector clean.

Tool needs air gap, approximately 2 ½ inch, between tool and surface to work properly.

NOTE: 
Always test to find out if the coating you want to remove is sensitive to heat before purchasing an infrared tool. Do a test with a less efficient heat-gun with a temperature-gauge (for your safety) before moving forward. 
 
While most coatings are responsive to heat, some like shellac, select epoxy formulations, milk paint, etc. are not and another paint removal method will be required.
 
Very dry old paint that the infrared seems to struggle to remove can be treated with a coat of Purified Linseed Oil 24 hrs before removal to increase responsiveness and ease of removal. 
Dampen and dispose of oil-soaked rags or paper towels at the end of each work day.
